HEISR began with a personal realization.

After years of brushing with the wrong pressure and angle, Harry Zhao started looking for a better way to brush — not just harder, not just longer, but smarter.

As an engineer, he saw the problem differently. Most toothbrushes had added new motors, apps, sensors, and modes, but the basic brush head still worked the same way: one side at a time, with the user responsible for getting the angle right.

That question became the beginning of HEISR:

What if the toothbrush could help people cover more surfaces with less guesswork?

Built, Tested, Rebuilt

Creating a 3-sided toothbrush was not as simple as changing the shape of a brush head.

The design had to feel comfortable in the mouth, move naturally along the teeth, and stay practical for daily use. That meant rethinking the brush head shape, bristle placement, handle balance, and the way the product fits into a normal brushing routine.
