HEISR was created around a simple idea: oral care should not depend on perfect technique every single day.
Most people brush. Most people try. But regular toothbrushes still ask users to control angle, pressure, motion, and timing across every part of the mouth.
HEISR was built to make that routine simpler — with a 3-sided brush head designed to help contact more tooth surfaces in each brushing motion.
HEISR began with a personal realization.
After years of brushing with the wrong pressure and angle, Harry Zhao started looking for a better way to brush — not just harder, not just longer, but smarter.
As an engineer, he saw the problem differently. Most toothbrushes had added new motors, apps, sensors, and modes, but the basic brush head still worked the same way: one side at a time, with the user responsible for getting the angle right.
That question became the beginning of HEISR:
What if the toothbrush could help people cover more surfaces with less guesswork?
Built, Tested, Rebuilt.
Creating a 3-sided toothbrush was not as simple as changing the shape of a brush head. We rethought the structure, brushing pressure, and daily user experience from the inside out.
A better brush starts with a better question.
HEISR began with a simple problem: people brush every day, but key areas can still be missed. Instead of asking users to change their technique, we started designing a brush that could improve coverage by design.
From concept to working structure.
The first prototypes focused on the core three-sided structure: how the brush head should wrap around the tooth, how it should move, and how it could remain comfortable during daily brushing.
Designed to fit the mouth, not just the idea.
As the design evolved, we reduced the brush head size and refined its shape so it could enter the mouth more naturally while still supporting inner, outer, and chewing-surface contact.
Better coverage required better bristle direction.
We refined the bristle angle and head structure to better support gumline cleaning, helping the brush reach areas that are often missed by a traditional single-sided brush.
Gentle pressure became part of the design.
Coverage alone was not enough. We tested brushing pressure and refined the contact structure to make everyday cleaning feel more controlled, consistent, and gum-friendly.
A 3-sided brush made for real routines.
Today, HEISR combines wrap-around coverage, soft bristles, balanced pressure, and a simpler brushing motion — built for people who want better cleaning without making brushing more complicated.
